At Great Lakes Pet Emergencies (GLPE) we provide a wide range of services for every imaginable emergency because your pet’s health is important to us. We strive to provide each patient with personalized, compassionate care while utilizing the most advanced, and comprehensive lab and diagnostic capabilities in our area.

You may be referred to our hospital for any of the following reasons:

-Your pet experiences an unexpected injury or illness after your veterinarian’s regular office hours.

-Your pet may need advanced care or support such as continuous oxygen supplementation, ECG or blood pressure monitoring, or drug infusion.

-Your pet may require continuous advanced monitoring due to the severity of his or her illness or injury

-You or your veterinarian may prefer for your pet’s safety that he or she have overnight post-surgical or post-anesthetic monitoring for complications and pain management.

-Your pet may require immediate lab tests completed to facilitate a diagnosis and aid in patient care

-Your pet requires advanced diagnostic procedures such as digital radiographs and board-certified radiologist consultation, ultrasound, or endoscopy.

-Your pet requires a surgical or other anesthetic procedure when your family veterinarian is unavailable.
