Great Lakes Pet Emergencies is a referral hospital.
If your pet has an emergency during your regular veterinarian’s office hours, they should be contacted.
GLPE takes care of emergencies in extremely critical cases, outside normal office hours and during the holidays.
After treatment at GLPE, your pet should return to your veterinarian for follow up care.
GLPE is equipped and prepared to handle most pet emergencies with skill, speed and compassion. Some emergencies require specialists such as a neurologist or ophthalmologist. Our staff will help you make these arrangements if your pet will benefit from this. Your regular veterinarian may also refer your pet to us for critical care if your pet suffers from a serious illness such as respiratory distress, diabetes or gastric dilation volvulus. No matter what the situation, Great Lakes Pet Emergencies is here when you need us. |
